Groovy Baby

My router has been with me for the better part of college, work and now law school. Lately, it's been a little miffed by Atlanta weather and refuses to send stable signals to even 10 ft away.

Here's my original solution which didn't work at all...
Notice the lack of elevation and parabola surface for amplifying the signal. After some research I came up with this.

I made this signal booster out of foam (on sale for 50 cents) and lots of aluminum foil...and all the text books that the bookstore refuse to buy back....Now I enjoy 5 bars ( up from the 3 or the occasional 2)  in my living room. Just in time for Diablo III!

The REAL reason why I haven't posted much...

Damn you walmart, and your affordable fried chicken and roasted turkey legs...

In other news, I've picked up crocheting! Here's a Cthulhu. Next project: Bob-omb.

Lettuce Saladwith grape tomato and almonds
Very boring sushi (just rice warpped in seaweed)
Tofu crumbs
Steamed culiflower, broccoli and carrots with sesame and shrimp bits

I played with puppies for a good couple hours today and I'm exhausted! Here's a beautiful boy named Sandy I ran around with!

Rice paper wrap!

So glad my oral argument is done. Here's some rice paper wrap and chicken!

Oral Argument Breakfast (and BBQ from yesterday)

Fried Crabmeat Pancake!
Fried food for breakfast is surely the way to win arguments!

It's amazing how much my previous students still motivate and help me through law school! My oral argument is in a couple hours and I'm starting to get that flutter in the tummy (either that or I didn't cook the pancakes thoroughly). I remember how my kids had to put on a mock trial in front of an entire room full of professionals (and a REAL judge!!!), and my little presentation in front of three professors suddenly doesn't seem so scary.
