Bento #1

I had to use Tupperware because I lost part of my old bento box in the move (d'oh!). The new (and cute, and color coded) ones will arrive soon :).

Today's Bento Includes:

  • 1/3 cup of Plain yogurt with cranberries and mint M&Ms
  • 2 Cookies
  • Inconspicuous group of Almonds
  • Green Bean with a touch of Curry powder**
  • Slices of Peper Jack cheese
  • Mini Sammiches stuffed with Ham, White Turkey, Bolona, and Turkey Salami, garnished with a dot of guacamole (close up below)
Certainly not a "healthy" lunch per se but definitely a diet one for me considering all the green bits in it...

**Recipe: No Cook Green Beans (unless you count microwaving as cooking, which a lot of people the title isn't exactly accurate but you get the jest)

Green Bean
Paper Towel
Microwavable container

Casting Sequence:
Chop the beans into desired length (remember to chop off the little fibery nub on both ends)
Wrap beans in a paper towel and run under water until it's completely wet
Stick the wrapped beans in a container and zap it in the microwave for 2 min

Optional: Add little pieces of cheese or spice or unicorn horn dust or blood of a female (not sure why people don't specify gender in this since one is probably a lot more common than the other) virgin, etc.
