Recipe - Easy Tamagoyaki

As seen in Bento #6 and Bento #3
Mats for this spell:

  • 2 eggs
  • a pinch of curry powder
  • a pinch of granulated chicken stock or salt
  • Optional : Soy Sauce - The eggs usually look kind of depressed with soy sauce in it...

Casting Sequence:

  1. Put everything in a bow
  2. Mix Mix Swirl Mix the eggs - I usually mix it a little less than I do scrambled eggs to create more interesting colours
  3. Soak a piece of paper towel in oil and coat the pan
  4. Put the stove on HIGH and heat up the pan for 3-4 min
  5. Pour the mixture in and STIR! STIR! until the egg is half set
  6. Once the top doesn't look like runny snot anymore (no one likes salmonella) turn off the fire
  7. Flip the egg 1/3 of the way like making a failed omelet
  8. Flip the egg over again like making a wrap
  9. Wait for the egg to cool (this is the hardest part...)
  10. Chop egg into even slices
  11. Stack two slices together
  12. wrap with seaweed (nori)
  13. Offer a piece to your cat as tribute (of course, get a cat if you don't already have a cat)
